With the news on Monday 4 January 2021 of a further National Lockdown, the Attenborough Arts Centre will not be opening the public until mid-February at the earliest. We are still expecting further Government guidance and information, so we will continue to update you through email and our website.
This does not mean that we will be stopping our work. The Attenborough Arts Centre will be continuing the work with both local and national artists to produce streamed performances, our tutors are working hard to adapt their courses for Teams, and we have many other projects going on that we aren’t yet ready to share with you. Here’s a hint though – it’s going to be funny.
Despite lockdown 3.0, we’re chuffed to say that we’ve come a long way. 2020’s highlights have been holding residences, filming performances & successfully shifting our creative courses & student activities online. Unlike the first lockdown back in March we are prepared, know what we want to achieve and how to achieve it. It will not be easy, with many of our plans being affected by this new lockdown, but we will be doing our upmost to continue to deliver our exciting programmes.
