Studio Attenborough

Studio Attenborough

Studio Attenborough is a new way for creative people to learn from the comfort and safety of their own home, and for University of Leicester societies to create digital content.

Student societies

With the world still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are trying new and experimental ways to deliver our content to people unable to visit our building.

Studio Attenborough is our new digital space for our creative courses, performances and University of Leicester societies, sharing and producing their digital content.

Creative Courses
Between September and December, we will be experimenting with ways to continue delivering the range and quality of courses Attenborough Arts Centre has provided since 1997.

As social distancing has restricted class sizes we are launching a ‘Blended Learning’ programme as well as ‘Studio Attenborough’ a new, fully digital way to get creative from the safety of your home.

Live Performances

Live theatre performances have still been going on throughout lockdown, with companies around the world streaming their newest and best works.

We will be recording and publishing live recorded performances through Studio Attenborough, giving even more people the opportunity to see the new, bold work that we have commissioned and supported at the Attenborough Arts Centre.

Student Societies

We are giving University of Leicester student societies time to use Studio Attenborough to create digital content and videos that they can use through their channels.

With a multi-camera setup and trained members of staff to aid the filming and production, the students’ videos are as professional as possible.

Societies will need to book their slot by emailing arts-marketing@le.ac.uk
