Submissions open for course/workshop proposals

Attenborough Arts Centre is delighted to invite submissions of course/workshop proposals for artists and tutors as part of our new digital programme, Studio Attenborough.

In autumn 2020 we launched ‘Studio Attenborough’, a new way to reach audiences through digital platforms. Studio Attenborough is split into three areas of delivery and this proposal process is part of our creative learning programme which provides online art and craft classes hosted, sold and distributed through our website.

We are seeking submissions for sessions which will be recorded over one day in our recording studio to be edited down to a 30 minute – 1 hour one off class. We would like to explore artists individual creative process from conception to completion, and celebrate the uniqueness of their work.

All classes will need to provide learners with an optional ‘craft box’ of materials which will be sent to their home before the class. The materials in your craft box need to be outlined in your application.

We would like all applicants to think about the target audience for the class and highlight how this relates to AAC’s ethos and mission.
