Pitcher’s acclaimed credits include My Fair Lady at The Mill at Sonning\, Bard from the Barn at the Barn Theatre Cirencester\, and The Winter’s Tale at Theatre on the Bay in Cape Town. \nThis vibrant production also features original music by award-winning composer Rob Millett\, whose previous commissions include Ballet Rambert\, the National Theatre\, and Shakespeare’s Globe. There is also free parking on both Glebe Road and Stoughton Drive South\, though spaces will be limited. Please be respectful of our local residents and take care not to park across driveways. \nLimited Blue Badge parking is available at the Botanic Garden but must be booked in advance. Please email arts-centre@le.ac.uk if you require a space booking. \n  \nFood & Drink\nYou’re welcome to bring your own picnic and drinks. A selection of alcoholic and soft drinks\, along with bar snacks\, will also be available to purchase onsite. We ask that you please respect our shared outdoor space and the Botanic Garden which is a conservation area – please clean up after yourselves\, taking your litter and recycling with you or placing it in the nearby bins. We appreciate your support with this. \n  \nSeating & Comfort\nPlease note that seating is not provided. We recommend bringing your own blankets\, or low-backed\, fold-up garden chairs for comfort. While the Gardens offer a limited number of benches and deck chairs\, personal seating will help you settle in for a relaxed and enjoyable evening under the open sky. \nIn the event of sunny weather\, please note that Beaumont Lawn is exposed to direct sunlight. Please therefore bring adequate sun protection with you. \nPlease also bring waterproofs in the event of rain. \n  \nWet Weather Policy\nPlease be prepared for performances to continue in all eventualities\, with the exception of persistent rain and/or wind. We will never cancel the performance sooner than 1 hour in advance except in extreme weather conditions in which case we will contact you by email and/or phone. If weather affects the performance once it has started\, three attempts will be made to recommence the performance and only abandoned as a last resort. We politely ask that ticketholders do not contact us to request weather updates – you will be notified by email and/or phone should the event be cancelled for any reason in which case exchanges or refunds will be made available.
