Alternative Crafts and Decorative Arts

Course Description:

For all you alternative creatives out there, this is crafting to the extreme. Think glitter, neon, and unusual. Tutor Rosie spends most of her time creating quirky gifts and decorations, and wants to teach you how easy and fun it can be. In these workshops you will explore collage, card making and recycled decorations with a nod to pop culture, a bit of inspiration from Mexican folk art, and a great big sprinkle of glitter.

Course Tutor:

Brought up in an incredibly crafty family, Rosie has been ‘super arty’, going onto study at The Manchester School of Art. After a few years of travelling and filmmaking, she now runs her own business, Rosie and Ramona, which sells handmade gifts from her home in Leicester.
