Course Description:
Belly dance is a low impact class suitable for all fitness levels, with no dance experience necessary to join in. Learn vibrating shimmies, hip bumps and body waves from professional belly dancer, Hannah Myatt.
This class is a gentle but full body dance workout, with travelling steps, turns and graceful arms. Each class will cover foundational body dance techniques and fun routines to learn as a group. Wear clothing you can move in such as leggings and vests, bare-foot or soft soled dance shoes are best. Optionally, students may like to wear a hip scarf to add extra movement at the hip.
Course Tutor:
Hannah Myatt is a dancer and instructor specialising in fusion belly dance, burlesque and hula hooping. Hannah is passionate about helping students grow, be body confident and overcome stage fright. She runs cabaret shows for venues, festivals and events, and is the owner of Skytribe dance studio in Leicester City Centre.
