Course Description:
Explore the world of Gold Leaf crafts as you design and guild your own initials. This course is perfect for beginners as it utilises old and new techniques. All pieces will be completed with colour using metallic paints, ink or pencil as you prefer.
Through the weeks you will learn how to work on your pattern and design with flourishes, teaching you the correct way to apply gold leaf to bring out its shine and lustre. This is a supportive and friendly workshop that is perfect to do with friends for a relaxing evening.
Course Tutor:
Jane Lappage started her Calligraphy business in 2005 and has been producing various artworks and calligraphic pieces ever since, including work for the late Queen and Kirstie Allsopp. Her passion is teaching with old and new products and tested tips.
