Design and Create a Crochet Bag

Course Description:

You have learnt the basics of crochet but want to take it to the next level and create something totally unique. In this workshop, you will be guided in how to design and create a bag, purse, clutch using crocheted squares.

To join this class you will need to know a few basic crochet stitches chain, slip stitch, double crochet and treble crochet. Bring along your hooks and the yarn you want to use to make your bag, as the tutor, Bonita, shows you how to plan and layout the colours for your bag, along with joining and finishing techniques.

Bonita, better known as the women behind Beaky, is a Leicester-based crafter who promotes creative workshops and her own range of handmade crystal jewellery. Her passion for sustainability and wellbeing are central within all her work, informing her designs and approaches.
