Explorations in Monoprinting

Course Description:

Explore the world of monoprinting through a range of techniques to create unique prints for yourself or as a gift for your loved ones.

Each week takes on a different skill, as you learn about positive and negative space, and use stencils and found objects to create one off prints, while experimenting with masking, drawing onto plates and dendritic techniques. This is a beginner friendly course that provides all the materials needed to learn a relaxing and enjoyable new craft.

Course Tutor:

This course is led by Johanna Shearer, previously a teacher of the arts in local schools, she has taught at Attenborough Arts for over 4 years including the popular Adventures in Art course, and is an avid printmaker with a huge passion for crafts, collage and colour.
