Expressive Florals on Canvas

This three-hour workshop is suitable for colour lovers, for beginners and those who love to paint but want to try a freer style of painting with acrylics and mark making. Starting with a gorgeous acrylic colour palette and then moving on to using lots of different tools to create shapes and marks, you’ll go home with an impressive, expressive floral canvas.

In this workshop you’ll use corks, twigs, rubber stamps, card, foil, recycled plastic and more to create interesting marks for petals, stems and blooms. With guidance you’ll learn how to group all these techniques together to produce a beautiful painting.

Abi has been teaching art classes in person and online for several years, sharing her love of colour and unique style of acrylic painting. She truly believes anyone can enjoy painting and create something wonderful.

All materials will be provided.

Participants should be aged 14+. Young people aged 17 or under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
