Flexibility Training for all
Everyone can improve their flexibility, regardless of age, gender, or fitness level. Whether you are a dancer wanting more freedom of movement, have always wanted to achieve flat splits, or are looking to improve your overall health and wellbeing, working on your flexibility can benefit you.
Flexibility is a journey, and this course aims to arm you with good habits, motivation, and the knowledge required achieving your goals.
We will work on improving front splits, middle splits, and back bends, with a focus on safe practice and fun. There is no flexibility without strength; expect techniques based on yoga, circus arts, classic fitness training and rehabilitation exercises. The learner is always in control over their limits and the tutor will never push anyone into a deeper stretch.
Learners will need a yoga mat and 2 x yoga blocks. Those with sensitive knees may want extra knee padding or a thicker mat.
Doe Demure is a dancer and instructor specialising in fusion belly dance, burlesque and hula hooping. Doe Demure is passionate about helping students grow, be body confident and overcome stage fright. She runs cabaret shows for venues, festivals and events.
