Geometric Collographs

Course Description:

Create a striking Geometric print using the technique of relief collagraphy, by exploring composition, scale and the relationships between shapes and space to create your own plate.

With tutor, Johanna Shearer, you will gain an understanding of the equipment and materials needed to create your plate and will explore how to apply a layer. Learners will be taught how to ink up their collagraphs and how take a print. A fun and relaxing workshop that is full of support – no experience needed and all equipment is provided.

Course Tutor:

This workshop is led by Johanna Shearer, previously a teacher of the arts in local schools, she has taught at Attenborough Arts for over 4 years including the popular Adventures in Art course, and is an avid printmaker with a huge passion for crafts, collage and colour.
