Hula Hoop Introduction

Always wanted to try Hula Hoop dancing? We have the perfect workshop for you! Suitable for beginners and those who want more practice, we will take you through the basics of hula hooping, spinning and develop your dancing capabilities. Hula hoop dancing is known to improve hand-eye co-ordination, balance and wellbeing while also supporting mental and physical health.
Learn all the basics of waist hooping as well as 'off-body' hoop tricks, performing simple hula hoop moves all while having fun exercising in a group. You will be provided with the hoop, the guidance and support to become a great hula hoop dancer – all you need to do is bring yourself and bags of energy! Move your body, have fun, and learn a new skill ready for your next festival.
Hannah Myatt is a dancer and instructor specialising in fusion belly dance, burlesque and hula hooping. Hannah is passionate about helping students grow, be body confident and overcome stage fright. She runs cabaret shows for venues, festivals and events, and is the owner of Skytribe dance studio in Leicester City Centre.
