Intermediate Hand Lettering and Calligraphy

4 week course starting on Saturday 17 June (excl 1 July).

Course Description:

For those who want to progress your hand lettering and decorative typography further by exploring new skills, that cater to your individual strengths and interests.

Once you have harnessed the letters and words, you can start being really creative and think about what we’ll use them for. You will learn how to write beautiful quotes and apply them to greetings cards, personalised decorations, small signs – professional yet personal. Using different mediums, including pencils, brush pens, ink, chalk pens. You will be able to apply these skills to create something unique for yourself or as a gift – make your mark!

Course Tutor:

Brought up in an incredibly crafty family, Rosie has been ‘super arty’, going onto study at The Manchester School of Art. After a few years of travelling and filmmaking, she now runs her own business, Rosie and Ramona, which sells handmade gifts from her home in Leicester.
