Layered Landscape in Print

Description
You are invited to be immersed in landscape and utilise textures, simple lines, colour blocking and quiet mark to create your own unique print through lino.
With guidance and support, tutor Mandeep with showcase various examples of work, lead you through step-by-step demonstrations of using lino-cutting tools to create mindful mark-making. At the end of the one-day workshop, you will produce an incredible landscape linocut print, with skills that can be used for a lifetime, in the beautiful Botanic Gardens.

Course Tutor:
Mandeep Dhadialla is a printmaker who produces original botanical relief prints, predominantly creating linocuts made by creating her own drawings on traditional lino and Japanese vinyl cutting surfaces. She has received an Honourable Mention Award with Circle Foundation for the Arts, Kenya, and achieved Commended for the same print with my submission to Teesside Print Prize 20.
