Life Drawing - Light and Colour

Description
Course Description:
Put colour theory into practice through life drawing, with the study of tonal values in this structured course to bring expression to your work.
Each session will give you an understanding of the relationships of colour in practice, exploring surface colours, colour properties, subtractive mixing, the colour wheel, coloured neutrals, and more. Tutor, Scott Bridwood, will talk you through each exercise, showing examples of his own work to demonstrate the techniques. This course will culminate in a two-week pose session where you will have the opportunity to finish the course with a full painting.
Course Tutor:
Scott Bridgwood developed his specialisation in painting the figure in his BA in Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art. He worked in Rome for eight years as a mural and portrait artist and taught at the British Cultural Institute in Rome and is now a full-time professional artist and undertakes portrait commissions and divides his time between studios in Leicester and Cheshire.
