Modern Patchworking and Quilting for Beginners
Sessions on: 27 February, 13 March, 27 March, 17 April
Ever dreamed of making modern heirlooms for your family and friends? Then this is the course for you. Learn how to make patchwork quilts with local quilter and quilt pattern designer Kathleen Anderson. You will learn everything you need to know to make your first patchwork quilt, from start to finish, over eight weeks (including homeworking).
The course is suitable for absolute beginners and more experienced sewists trying patchwork and quilting for the first time. You will need access to a basic sewing machine to work on your quilt at home between classes and be able to bring your personal choice of cotton fabrics.
With Kathleen’s tuition and guidance, you’ll learn new skills, grow in creative confidence and meet like-minded people, all in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Kathleen is a quilter, quilting teacher, and quilt pattern designer; saying that “making quilts is my purpose, teaching others to quilt is my passion, and designing quilt patterns is my joy”. The perfect tutor to learn quilting from!
