Needle Point Necklace

Course Description:

In this one-day workshop you will use embroidery and cross-stitch techniques to create a wearable piece of art.

Tutor Bonita will guide you through basic needlepoint stitches on fabric to bring your ideas to life, which will then be transformed into a unique necklace. Taking place at the Botanic Gardens, you could take inspiration from the spring beauty around you, as the flowers begin to bloom and the weather is getting warmer.

Bonita, better known as the women behind Beaky, is a Leicester-based crafter who promotes creative workshops and her own range of handmade crystal jewellery. Her passion for sustainability and wellbeing are central within all her work, informing her designs and approaches.
