When you buy a ticket we may use your information to contact you about your booking i.e. if the booking has been cancelled, to send you your tickets or give any further information about the booking which may affect your visit. When you buy a ticket your information is stored on our secure Box Office CRM system. Your details will be stored on this secure server as long as you are an active user (i.e. if you have bought a ticket within the last 5 years). We cleanse our system of inactive users every 2 years.
When you opt in to receiving marketing your information is stored on a secure cloud based system called Mailchimp. [or your information is stored on our secure Box Office CRM system which is integrated with a cloud based system called Mailchimp] We will ask you to re-consent by opting in to marketing materials every 2 years. If you do not re-consent by opting in, your information will be deleted from our system.
When you sign a Photography and Film Permission Form your information is digitalised and stored on the University of Leicester’s secure server, with any paper copies confidentially shredded. Your digital consent form is stored on our secure server indefinitely, so long as we believe your image may be used in the future.
When you hire one of our spaces your information in the contract is stored as paper files in physical folders within a secure office. Your contract is stored for 3 years after which your information will be confidentially shredded. Your information contained within email communication is saved and archived regularly within a single secure account. Your demographic information including postcodes and number of disabled users is stored digitally on an excel sheet on a secure server indefinitely.
When you visit our website your information is stored on an analytics service provider indefinitely. Individual users will not be identifiable from this information.
As a National Portfolio Organisation funded by Arts Council England, we share postcodes to Audience Finder to report on audience demographics.
We share postcodes with third party companies that present work at Attenborough Arts Centre who need to report on audience demographics.
We share your email address when you opt in to receive emails from third party companies and organisations related to the event you are attending. E.g. The Spark Arts Festival, Leicester Comedy Festival. We may also share your email address with University of Leicester if you have expressed more information on how to become a donor on our Friends scheme.
Your invoice and contact information may be shared with the University of Leicester’s Accounts Payable team who will process your invoice and may contact you.

Ticket bookings are made via our online ticketing system PatronBase which has its own separate terms and conditions.
Logs are kept of the date/time/user ID of all log-in sessions, and these may be used for diagnostic or problem-solving purposes.
Our systems automatically record all requests for accessing web content, including the requesting computer’s IP address. This is a standard function of web serving technology and, as above, we only use these logs for diagnostic and problem-solving purposes.
To identify which webpages are accessed, we use traffic log cookies and analytics services provided by Crazy Egg and Google. From this we can analyse data about web traffic and thereby constantly improve our website for users. This information is only used for statistical analysis. Cookies help us to provide website visitors with a better service by enabling us to identify which pages are most useful to most people.
