Venue Hire

Attenborough Arts Centre has a range of fully adaptable and accessible spaces for use and hire.


From only £20 per hour, you can hire spaces for performance, training, creative activities, rehearsals, workshops and meetings.
Our rooms and studios offer various facilities to enhance your hire, including built in projectors, screens, and sound systems. For large scale events, performances and concerts you can hire our Diana Princess of Wales Hall. The hall has a fully functional sound system and lighting rig, please download our Technical Pack for full specifications. We can provide highly experienced technical and staffing support for your event. Contact us to discuss your needs and the costs involved.

Music Practice Room Bookings

Attenborough Arts Centre manages bookings for 3 of the music practice rooms based on the main University campus.
Charles Wilson Building 10th Floor

Suitable for group and band rehearsals and music tuition. Access to the room and instrument store cupboards is via access code.

Attenborough Seminar Block Ground Floor
(Att PR 003)

Suitable for individual and duet rehearsals or one-to-one teaching. This room has one piano.

Attenborough Seminar Block Ground Floor
(Att PR 004)

Suitable for individual and duet rehearsals or one-to-one teaching. This room has two pianos.

Looking to book?

You can use the room up to a maximum of 10 persons at any one time, provided the door(s) remains open when the room is in use. Preference to open the final exit door with the push-bar leading to the external staircase. The main entrance/fire door can be kept open but must be managed and closed whenever the room is not in use as it is a fire door.
