On Saturday 31 August, Leicester will celebrate the LGBT community with one of the UK’s largest free Pride festivals.
Celebrating equality and diversity within the community, the Pride festival is a family event with entertainment and attractions for all. The parade begins at Humberston Gate at 12pm, marching through The Lanes, Jubilee Square and along High Street, leading to its final location at Abbey Park. With DJ’s, live music, hot food and fair ground rides, the event attracts more than 10,000 people a year. For more information, please visit the Leicester Pride website and festival guide.
