For ‘January Welcome Week’ this Wednesday, 26th January, head down to Centenary Square on University of Leicester Campus 12pm – 5pm to feel energised and revitalised. Our marquee is set up perfectly for fly-by drop-ins or those there for the long haul to experience crafts and entertainment like no other.
All day we have Johanna Shearer and Mel Rye each teaching their amazing crafts that promote wellness, mindfulness, and self-care. Join in with Johanna’s ‘Weaving for Mindfulness’ for an introduction to the basics of weaving and leave with an incredible wall hanging or poster made just by you. The perfect addition for your home, flat, or hall!
After that check out Mel’s ‘Mindful Drawing for Self-Care’ to develop a regular mindfulness, creative fulfilment, and relaxation all through joyous drawing. By joining in with these crafts you will be the very essence of refreshed and ready for the New Year ahead.
After all that mindfulness you deserve a bit of spice in your life, which is why we are bringing back Shell Suit Cher! Back by popular demand – because you all just couldn’t get enough of her –join us 1pm and 3pm for ‘Believe in Bingo’, hosted by a Cher that has swapped Hollywood and glamour for shell suits and bingo. You will laugh, you will dance, and you play to win life-changing prizes that you couldn’t even imagine selected by Cher herself, plus two cheeky vouchers for one of our Attenborough Arts at Home kits as well.
