Apittame was founded in 2019 as we felt there was a space that was needed for people to meet, as well as partake in the arts and build a sense of community. We want to centre marginalized peoples stories, as well as hopefully facilitate a space that helps people find their tribe
Come, spend an evening writing and exploring your imagination. You don't have to be Shakespeare or Maya Angelou; all you need is a pen, some paper. You can create a world outside of the woes of everyday life. Together during this session, all that is required from you is your presence and openness to share the writings that are created in this space.
