Nestled within our centre, the Attenborough Café has entered an exciting new chapter.
With a new management team at the helm, the café is set to deliver a deliciously elevated experience that perfectly complements its creative surroundings.
The Attenborough Café has always been more than just a place to grab a bite — it’s an integral part of the artistic atmosphere that makes the Arts Centre so special. Now, with a refreshed menu and renewed energy, it’s the perfect spot to fuel your day with flavour while soaking in the expressive, inspiring environment.
What’s on the menu
You can start your morning right with an exclusive selection of freshly prepared breakfast options that pair perfectly with a warm drink and a relaxed atmosphere. Key new offerings include freshly cooked plated breakfasts, American-style pancakes, smashed avocado and poached egg, smoked salmon and the best thing is that they are served all day, right through to lunch and beyond.
Alternatively, at lunchtime, indulge in tasty toasted sandwiches with gluten free options available and freshly made baguettes and bruschetta. Every toasted sandwich or fresh baguette is served with crisps and a fresh side salad, making it a satisfying and wholesome choice.
The ever-popular jacket potatoes with gluten free, vegan and vegetarian fillings are still on the menu, as well as the soup of the day, all made with high-quality ingredients.
For those with a sweet tooth, you’ll find an enticing range of cakes baked in the kitchen – such as gooey chocolate brownies or lemon drizzle, plus pastries, crisps and confectionery to round off your visit.
Whether you’re exploring the gallery, attending a performance, or simply seeking a cosy lunch spot between lectures or meetings, the Attenborough Café offers a warm, inviting space where art and flavour blend seamlessly.
So next time you’re at the Attenborough Arts Centre, pop by the café, say hello to the friendly team, and discover the new menu for yourself.
