This season we are excited to welcome new and returning artists and audiences to our Craft & Art Fair. With crafters from across the country sharing their work, there will be something unique that would make a perfect gift for yourself or a loved one.
Whether you come to all our fairs or have never been before, make sure you pop in on Saturday 9 May 11am – 4pm and check out the fantastic talent on show.
From botanic cyanotype prints informed from her horticulturist disciplines by Sophie Cook, to handmade beautiful and unusual work from foraged materials by Jane Bevan, and copper and silver jewellery from Christine Pearson, there is a wide range of work here to inspire anyone.

Alongside some of our regular stallholders, we are delighted to welcome new exhibitor Rosie Priestley. A contemporary jewellery designer working in recycled silver, gold and colourful gemstones, she combines modern techniques like 3D printing with sand casting, alongside traditional bench skills and stone setting. Each piece is made by hand in her Lincolnshire studio, and involves much experimenting along the way!
Her designs are influenced by her graphic design background, so expect bold shapes, clean lines and pieces that play with repetition and asymmetry.
Rosie will have a mixture of her new work and established favourites here at the fair, so come and try things on, have a chat and see what she’s been making.

The Fair will also feature the sale of work from the late Alan Caine who passed away in 2023. With Eleanor Hartley, working alongside Sir Richard Attenborough, Alan helped conceive, fund, design and launch the Attenborough Centre for Disability and the Arts, now Attenborough Arts Centre, in 1997. Alan’s estate has very kindly donated his work for sale to help raise essential funds for Attenborough Arts Centre. All donations will help us to continue to ensure everyone can access the arts, and fund some very much needed equipment to help disabled children, young people and adults enjoy their creative journey in our spaces. All of his artwork will be sold as pay-what-you-can.
Free or Pay What You Can entry for all with free parking at the university car park next door, and all-day access to our exhibitions. All areas are pushchair and wheelchair accessible, we have lift and external ramp access to the first floor and lower ground floor galleries, accessible toilets and a changing places bathroom, quieter spaces if the fair is a little overwhelming and assistance dogs are very welcome (just ask if they’d like some water while visiting).
