Train
We are a 10 minutes walk from Leicester railway station. If you would like more information about the train services available to and from Leicester, visit East Midlands Railway’s dedicated journey page by clicking here. Listed on the site are Leicester Railway Station’s facilities and their key accessibility areas.
Bus
Buses 47, 47A, 48, 48A and 80/80A (term-time only) all stop on University Road.
The free Hop! service loops the City Centre and operates every 10minutes, Monday to Saturday.
Bike
We are easily accessible by bikes due to the large bike lane on Lancaster Road.
Outside our building we have bike racks available to secure your vehicle. These are left here at your own risk.
Parking
We have four blue badge parking spaces outside the building on a first-come-first-served basis, plus double yellow line roadside parking for blue badge holders for up to three hours.
Free parking for all customers is available after 5pm on weekdays and all day at weekends in the Medical Sciences Building (MSB) University of Leicester car park next door to our building. If the barrier is down when you arrive, simply buzz the intercom, say you’re visiting Attenborough Arts Centre, and security will lift the barrier for you. The closest public car park is Victoria Park (near De Montfort Hall), 5-10 minutes’ walk away.
