We are nominated for an award at Leicester Comedy Festival

We have been nominated for an award at the Leicester Comedy Festival and UK Kids’ Comedy Festival Awards 2025 and we couldn’t be happier. This year we are in the run for Contribution to Leicester Comedy Festival 2025.

As one of the largest comedy festivals in Europe, Leicester Comedy Festival brings together hilarity and audiences year after year. Started in 1994 with 40 events over 7 days throughout Leicestershire, the festival has since featured top stand-up names such as Jo Brand, Paul Merton, Jack Dee, Dave Gorman, Tony Slattery, Rory Bremner, Barry Cryer, Alan Davies, Jeremy Hardy, Bill Bailey, Garth Marenghi, Rhona Cameron, Ross Noble, Lee Hurst, Johnny Vegas, Simon Day, John Shuttleworth, Daniel Kitson, Rich Hall, Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, The Mighty Boosh, Dara O’ Briain, Simon Pegg, Lee Mack, Dave Spikey and Harry Hill. The festival also incorporates comedy film, poetry & spoken word, comic theatre, photographic and art exhibitions, and children’s shows.

We have been a part of the festival since we opened and this year we were proud to host 14 incredible acts ranging from laugh-out-loud comedy from Edy Hurst’s Wonderfull Discoverie of Witches in the Countie of Himself, live comedy games with technology from WiFi Wars, and shows for the whole family including Dan Nicholas’ Birthday Party and FailFailFailFailWin.

The award ceremony will take place Monday 31 March, and we are excited to celebrate comedy and culture with our fellow organisations and artists. Fingers crossed for us!
