A more accessible and flexible approach to learning to suit you!
Adventures in Art is a weekly drop in session, based on a variety of themes, designed for those who wish to find ways into art. It is;
- Open to all levels of experience
- Pay as you go, or bookable for weeks in advance
We provide all materials, visual images and objects to inspire. All you need to attended is a willingness to learn and a joy of getting creative in your own way!
We are particularly encouraging adults with disabilities for these sessions.
Session tutor schedule as follows;
14th March – 2nd May – Jo Shearer
9th May – 30th May – Diane Hall: Drawing and watercolour painting using objects from the natural environment for inspiration
6th June – 20th June – Jo Shearer (tbc)
25th July – 8th August – Bonita Keay: An introduction to mindful drawing, teaching you how to use drawing techniques as tools for being calm and creative
15th August – 29 August – Jo Shearer: Printmaking – exploring collagraph and monoprinting techniques, creating printing plates and exploring using the printing press.
Please note: there will be a break in sessions from 27 June for a few weeks. The next session after this break will be Tues 25 July 2023.
