Festive Card and Gift Wrap Lino Printing

November 25 @ 10:00 - 14:00
Event Series (See All)
£30 – £40
  • Hearing LoopHearing Loop

This event will be bookable on Monday 3 August 2026.

Carve your own lino stamp and have fun printing unique festive cards and wrap.

Create your own unique stamp carved from lino and experiment with the printing process, exploring repeating, rotating and offsetting your design to create your very own Christmas cards, tags and/or wrapping paper.

Tutor Jo will demonstrate how to transfer your design to lino and how to use lino cutting tools to carve your designs. You’ll learn the print making process and how to repeat, rotate and offset designs, as well as experimenting with colour and printing onto different formats such as cards, tags and wrapping paper.

About the tutor:

Tutor Jo Shearer is an artist and art educator from Leicestershire. Jo believes that art is for everyone. After teaching art in secondary schools and colleges in Hertfordshire and Leicestershire for over 10 years she moved into one-to-one tuition and workshops. She enjoys nurturing creativity and developing skills to build confidence, and recognises the therapeutic benefits achieved through the process of making. She loves the freedom of working in a variety of media and has a passion for printmaking.

This half-day workshop will start at 10am and end at 2pm. There’ll be a short break for lunch. Our café will be closed for the refurbishment works at this time so please bring a packed lunch with you.

We’ll then contact you if a place becomes available, with absolutely no obligation to accept it if you’ve made other plans!

Please ensure that you read and agree to our updated Terms & Conditions before booking as courses/workshops are non-refundable in some circumstances.

We aim to make all our sessions as accessible as possible and carers/PAs are very welcome – just remember to book their free place when you book your session.
