Speed Friending

This event is for University of Leicester students only.

You’ve heard of speed dating, well get ready for speed friending. An event tailor-made for meeting new people and making new friendships.

Find communities you feel connected to and develop relationships that will be part of your university experience – or at least enjoy a good night out in a safe space.

During the event you will sit in pairs at tables in our Salmon Gallery, a friendly and art-filled space, and you will be given icebreakers to start the conversation ranging from standard questions (“what are you studying at UoL?”) to randomised prompts (“Design a terrible amusement park ride”). After 5 minutes, one of the pair will rotate to a new table and the round will begin again. Afterwards there will be time for general chatting.

Try something new, meet someone new, and learn more about yourself all in one evening.

Please note that this event is only for University of Leicester students. We will ask for an ID badge at the event.
