“I’ve not laughed that much in years!”
Leicester Comedy Festival 2020 has drawn to a close for another year and Attenborough Arts Centre has experienced a brilliant festival.
Hosting over 30 performances across the 3 week festival, there was never a dull moment for the staff, visitors, and customers, with shows ranging from the gentle and serene Snow Mouse to the loud and bombastic Book of Daft 3D.
This year’s festival also saw Attenborough Arts Centre become the only venue in the festival that had a BSL interpreter present at a number of shows. This is part of our ongoing commitment to reduce barriers to the arts and has been received with wide praise, especially from the D/deaf community who have for so long been excluded from the LCF.
