Life Drawing Masterclass

Course Description:

In this masterclass from renowned artist Scott Bridgwood, discover the deep aspects of life drawing.

You will experiment with a variety of drawing techniques, using different media while looking for ways to take your studies to the next level. You’ll push the boundaries of your drawing methods and discuss a large collection of contemporary and traditional figurative works brought in by Scott and consider if they are successful pieces of art. The emphasis here is to go beyond accuracy, developing your personal style and moving on to producing expressive art.

Course Tutor:

Scott Bridgwood developed his specialisation in painting the figure in his BA in Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art. He worked in Rome for eight years as a mural and portrait artist and taught at the British Cultural Institute in Rome and is now a full-time professional artist and undertakes portrait commissions and divides his time between studios in Leicester and Cheshire.
