Weekly Writers Group

This event will be bookable on Monday 3 August 2026.
A weekly writing group – meet with other writers, or people who want to start writing, for inspiration, tips and support, sharing and feedback.
This weekly informal class is an opportunity to meet on a regular basis with other writers, new or experienced, with focussed writing prompts, time and space to work on your own projects with support from an experienced tutor, to share work in progress and get feedback and support from other group members.
Each week we’ll focus on a writing prompt (decided based on your interests and/or learning needs) and complete one piece of writing, which could be poetry, a short story and more. There will also be opportunities to bring other works in progress to share and get feedback on from the tutor and group members.
Alongside a weekly writing prompt, there will also be opportunities to discuss common writing problem and explore strategies to combat these. Each session will also include sharing of work in a safe and supportive environment.
