From classic TV game shows to zen-like word puzzles, from retro video games to modern first person shooters, WiFi Wars has something for everyone in its truly original whistlestop tour of all the ways you can have fun, in public.

The entire audience competes, both as teams and as individuals, on games, quizzes and more that are magically beamed into their smartphones and tablets using WiFi Wars’ Guinness World Record-Breaking tech, developed in residency at London’s prestigious Royal Institution.

Hosted by comedian Steve McNeil (team captain on the hit TV show “Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit”), WiFi Wars is the Award-Winning must-see show that’s like nothing you’ve seen before. As teams and players thrive and fail, each show’s unique narrative emerges hilariously in real time, with freshly-minted heroes becoming local legends in every place they visit.

DISCLAIMER: ENSURE YOU BRING A SMART DEVICE (phone/tablet) FOR EACH PLAYER – essentially you just need something with a touch-screen and a web-browser installed.

Also, make sure it’s got some battery charge in it as you’ll use it to play along with the entire show, but don’t worry – it doesn’t hugely drain your battery.

And you don’t need to download an app or install anything in advance, we’ll get you all set up when you arrive.

Suitable for all ages, 6+

Not sure if it’s for you? Here’s what previous people have said:

“It’s an interactive show without any of the bad bits of interactive shows. If you like things like escape rooms or audience participation you’ll have a great time, but if you’re the sort of person that wants to be left alone, you will be. No-one’s made to feel uncomfortable.”

“Don’t be put off by the idea it’s ‘Games On Your Phone’ – Steve and Rob make sure there’s something for every level of ability and interest. They take something that’s usually negative – people in a room all staring at their phones – and turn it into a euphoric, communal celebration that everyone can feel a part of.”

“Most shows that say they’re suitable for all ages are really kids’ or family shows in disguise, but there were groups of 30-something gamer friends sat happily alongside grandparents with their grandkids. The show doesn’t dilute itself at all, it just makes sure everyone can have the most fun time, on their own terms, together. Something we could all do with more of.”
